2008 Alaska State Fair Racing Has Began!
The Alaska State Fair kicked off this weekend in Palmer, Alaska giving racefans a chance to see some action. Fairgoers were treated to Motocross racing Saturday and Sunday nights, but as soon as the dust settled Sunday night, the track crew began constructing a UTV track. The NLDS UTV Class made their ASF debut on Monday. The class is comprised of two divisions, Stocks and Modifieds.
Winning the Feature in the Modified Division was Kenai's Josh Feltman, aboard a Polaris RZR. Not far behind him however was a stock RZR, driven by Cody ???, who chose to race both divisions, Stock and Modified. Cody went on to win the Stock UTV Feature as well as take second in the Modified Feature.
